MRS. H. CHRISTENSEN DIES AT 61 years

Mrs. Harry N. Christensen of Winterset died Tuesday, Nov. 18 at Memorial hospital here. She was 61 years of age.

Mrs. Christensen was a native of Russia where she was born at Odessa on March 15, 1908, a daughter of Cris and Frederika Kulm. She had been a resident of Madison county the last 27 years.

She was married at Greenfield on Sept. 21, 1944 to Harry N. Christensen, who survives her.

Mrs. Christensen was a member of the First United Presbyterian church and was active in its women's organization. She also was a member of the E and L club

In addition to her husband she leaves a son, Donald C. Lamberti of Waukee; two stepsons, Raymond L. Christensen of Natcitoches, La., and John E. Christensen of Des Moines; four grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; three brothers, Art Kulm of Cottage Grove, Ore., Rudolf Kulm of Walker, S.Dak., and Lester Kulm of Omaha, Nebr.; and six sisters, Mrs. Erna Huelle of Valley, Nebr., Mrs. Freda Schebeigert of Winner, S.Dak., Mrs. Christina Windmeyer of Naper, Nebr., Mrs. Alma Thiebold of California, Mrs. Elsie Kline of Naper, Nebr., and Mrs. Ester Foti of Fairport, N.Y.

One step-son, Carl Christensen, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Friday from the First United Presbyterian church of Winterset, with the pastor, the Rev. John E. Fink, officiating. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery. Memorial offerings are being accepted for the American Cancer society.
