David Lee Williamson, 23, formerly of St. Charles, died March 11, 2006, at Rolling Green Village in Nevada.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 14, at the St. Charles Parish Church with Pastors David Stout and George Thurman officiating. Burial was at Blair Chapel Cemetery, St. Charles.
David Williamson was born Sept. 5, 1982, in Des Moines to Lon David and Judy Louise (Cook) Williamson. He attended Interstate 35 schools through the first grade. David was involved in a farming accident and required living in care centers the remainder of his life. He resided at ChildServe in Johnston for 12 years. After graduating from ChildServe, he moved to On with Life in Glenwood where he was a resident for two years. David just recently moved to Rolling Green Village in Nevada.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martin and Helen Cook, and grandfather, Paul Williamson.
He is survived by his mother, Judy Williamson, and father, Lon Williamson, both of St. Charles; a sister, Sharon Deuel of Truro; two brothers, Doug Johnson and Kenny Williamson, both of St. Charles; and his grandmother, Violet Williamson of St. Charles.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Kale Funeral Homes of Osceola and Truro.
