Services for Freddie Louis Ceranek, 74, Safford, Ariz., who died Nov. 25 at the Mt. Graham Community Hospital at Safford, were held Monday, Nov. 29 at the Collins Funeral Home with Elder George King officiating. Burial was at the Peru Cemetery.
Mr. Ceranek was born at Audubon, Sept. 11, 1908, the son of Fred and Gertrude Ceranek. He was a veteran of World War II and engaged in farming and as a salesman.
He was member of the Seventh Day Anventist Church and had lived in Safford since December 1977. He married Berneice Robinson Nov. 11, 1949, at Omaha, Neb.
His wife survives him along with a son, Larry Eugene of Karlsruhe, Germany; daughters, Judith K. Hill of Murray and Mariellen Fetters of Long Beach, Calif.; a sister, Mary Louise Moor of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
