Berneice Ceranek, 86, of Safford, Ariz., died March 21, 2005, in Tucson, Ariz.

A graveside service was held April 1, 2005, at Peru Cemetery with Pastor Jody Dickhaut officiating.

Berneice resided in Peru, Osceola and Winterset. On Nov. 11, 1949, she married Fred Ceranek, Berneice was a beautician, owning a shop in Afton for six years. In 1961, she moved to Tucson, then to Safford in 1979.

She is survived by one son, Larry Ceranek; two daughters, Judy Hill and Mariellen Eage; and 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Collins Oak Park Chapel in Winterset.
