Mildred Mae Goodwin Caudle, Los Angeles, Calif.

Mildred Mae Goodwin Caudle, 73, Los Angeles, Calif., died of Alzheimer's Disease on June 28 at Midway Hospital in Los Angeles. There will a graveside service on Saturday, July 16, at 10:30 a.m. at the Winterset Cemetery.

Mrs. Caudle was born Aug. 25, 1914 at St. Joseph, Mo. She moved to Weldon, Iowa, making her home with her uncle George and aunt Fannie Goodwin and family of eight children. She was accepted as a member of the family.

She attended high school at Weldon and graduated from Indianola High School. She taught rural school in Warren and Madison counties for a number of years.

She married Herbert Clark Caudle on Sept. 20, 1942. The couple moved to Louisville, Ky., and then to Los Angeles where she continued to live until her death. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Orville and Alice Goodwin; a sister, Mary Jane, and a brother, Lewis.

She is survived by her husband.
