1967FRED CAUDLE DIES AT 61
Services Held Saturday For Lincoln Township Farmer
Funeral services for Wiliam Frederick (Fred) Caudle, Lincoln township farmer, were held last Saturday, July 15, from the Wilson Funeral home in Winterset.
A Madison county resident since 1952, Mr. Caudle died July 12 at Madison County Memorial hospital following a lingering illness. He was 61 years of age.
The son of James J. and Emma Vollenweider Caudle, he was born on a farm near Ellsworth, Iowa on Oct. 28, 1905.
He was married to Mildred P. Peterson on Aug. 11, 1934 at Nashua, Iowa.
Surviving are his wife; three children, John F. Caudle of Macksburg, Mrs. Raejean Warren of LaGrange, Ill. and Bethene Wildin of Winterset; a brother, R. L. Caudle of Webster City, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Glen Wilson of Eagle Grove, Iowa; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Officiating at the service last Saturday afternoon was the Rev. Melvin R. Mattox. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
