Services for Bessie E. Caudle, 97, Winterset, who died Monday, Dec. 26, at Madison County Memorial Hospital will be held Thursday, Dec. 29, at 1:30 p.m. at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. John Shaull officiating. Burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery.
Born in Madison County on Sept. 4, 1891, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Nancy Getchell Clark. On Dec. 2, 1911, she was married to Gean F. Caudle in Winterset.
A lifetime resident, Mrs. Caudle was homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Herbert Clark of Los Angeles, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and four brothers.
