Word was received here yesterday of the death of Miss Ella Norris of Minnesota, at St. Paul, on Wednesday morning, July 3. Miss Norris, who has been living at Crookston, Minnesota, with her brother, Jud Norris, has been ill for a long time with cancer. Her sisters, Mrs. Leonard Moore, of Indianola, and Mrs. Frank Gentry of Norwalk, had been in Minnesota, but they, with their brother and Miss Norris, had started back to Iowa. Her condition became worse in St. Paul, and she died in that city. The body will arrive in Des Moines tonight, and will be brought to Tidrick’s funeral home in Winterset. Funeral arrangements will be completed after the arrival of the relatives.

She spent the greater part of her life in Madison and Union counties, but for the past nine years had lived near Crookston, Minnesota. She united with the M. E. church at Lorimor, in 1912, and was baptized in that faith.
