Wilma Carter, Granger

Graveside services for Wilma Carter, 82, were held Tues., March 31 at Blair Chapel Cemetery, St. Charles. She died of complications of a stroke March 27 at Granger Manor Care Center where she was a resident.

Born in Rushville, Neb. she lived in Des Moines for over 40 years, moving to Granger two months ago. She retired from the State Liquor Commission and had worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Iowa.

Surviving are two sons, Albert of Des Moines and Ken of Truro, a sister, Lillian Whitlock of Alliance, Neb.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
