BROMLEY RUFUS WOOLDRIDGE

Services for Bromley Rufus Wooldridge, 78, Winterset, who died May 13, 1983, at Des Moines General Hospital, were held Monday, May 16 at the First Baptist Church with the Rev Phil Hall and the Rev. Ken Helmers officiating. Burial was at the Brethern Cemetery at Panora.

Mr. Wooldridge was born at Sonora, Ky., July 30, 1904, the son of Rufus and Maranda Froman Wooldridge. He was a farmer most of his life and retired in 1970. He married Thelma Mitchell Mar. 1, 1935 in Des Moines. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and came to Winterset in 1972 from Dallas County.

Survivors include his wife; sons Clifford of Winterset, Norman of Perry and Richard of Marshalltown; brothers, Berthal and Richard of Des Moines; sisters, Eva Foxhoven of Des Moines and Flora Gutermuth of Henryville, Ind., seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
