Services for Van Wray Bush, 74, Winterset, who died Jan. 2 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held Jan. 4 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Brite officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Madison County on March 3, 1911, he was the son of Jessie and Elsie Bush. He was married to Mildred Irene Sheldon. She died Oct. 18, 1977. He was married to Shirley Klug on Nov. 11, 1978.

Mr. Bush worked for the street department of the city of Winterset until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Donald of San Antonio, Texas and Wyman of Winterset; a daughter, Irene Wolken of Redding, Calif.; a sister, Hazel Gray of Winterset; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
