Services for Jane Ann Bryant, 30, a Winterset fourth grade teacher who died May 13 at Des Moines General Hsopital, will be held Thursday, May 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the Winterset High School with the Rev. Byron Ayers officiating.
Services will be also held Friday, May 17, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church in Marcus with the Rev. Brian McNamara officiating. Burial will be at the Marcus-Amherst Cemetery at Marcus.
Mrs. Bryant was born at LeMars on Sept. 4, 1954, the daughter of Mark and Lucille Anderson Carey. On Aug. 5, 1978, she was married to Donald Lee Bryant at Marcus.
She had been a resident of Winterset the past four years, coming from Glidden, Iowa. She was a member of the Winterset First United Methodist Church, the ISEA, NEA, United Methodist Women, the Modern Mrs. Club, and the Iowa Reading Association.
Survivors include her husband; parents; a son, Stephen Daniel Bryant at home; and brothers, Richard and wife Jane of Tucson, Ariz.; Bob and wife Nancy of Marion; John and wife Esther of Marcus and Son and wife Pagan of Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by two infant sisters.
