Robert Carson Brownlie, 87, of Cottonwood, Ariz., died Nov. 9, 1998.
Memorial services were held Wendesday, Nov. 18 at Mountain View United Methodist Church in Cottonwood.
Robert Brownlie was born Oct. 20, 1911 in Winterset. He had resided in Arizona since 1945 and in Cottonwood since 1971. He was retired from the contruction business. An active member of the community, Robert was a board member of the Mountain View United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Brownlie of Cottonwood; one son, John Brownlie of Phoenix; one stepson, Robert L. Mills of Phoenix; one daughter, Dolores Evans of Iowa; three sisters, Margaret Miller (husband Robert) of Arizona and Mary Hindman and Martha Hauser (husband George) both of Iowa and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
