FUNERAL SATURDAY FOR BRADLEY BROWN

Bradley B. Brown, a native of Madison county, died suddenly Thursday, April 5 at his home in Canoga Park, Calif. He was 84 years of age.

Mr. Brown was born near Winterset Nov. 2, 1882, a son of John and Martha Brown. He was the last survivor of a family of nine children.

Much of his life was spent in the Patterson and Earlham areas of Madison county. He was working at the Earlham quarry at the time of his retirement.

Surviving are his wife; four children, Harold Brown of Dexter, Llyaid Brown of Canoga Park, Calif., Mrs. Alden Emmert of Fonda, and Wilbur Brown of Simi, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Canoga Park. The body is being returned to Iowa, where services will be held this Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Fisher Funeral home in Adel, with burial in the Earlham cemetery.
