May 3, 1961Jack Brittain Dies in Corning Wreck
Jack Lee Brittain, age 21, of Corning, was killed early this Tuesday morning in a one-car auto accident north of Corning.
He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Brittain of Corning. The family made their home in Winterset until a few years ago.
The elder Mr. Brittain manages the Brittain's Standard Parts business in Corning, which is connected with the firm of the same name here in Winterset.
