Robert Earl Love, Earlham

Robert Earl Love died of a heart attack Sat. August 22, 1992 on Pike's Peak in Colorado. Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church in Earlham on Thurs., August 27, with the Rev. Eldon Cole.

Mr. Love was born on July 27, 1934 in Dexter, Iowa to Earl and Anna (Michener) Love. He married Beverly Dhabalt in Des Moines on September 28, 1957. He was an employee of John Deere in Ankeny for 30 years, retiring in 1988. He served as a combat infantryman during the Korean War and was a member of the Earlham American Legion.

He was preceded in death by a son, his parents, and one brother.

Surviving relatives include his wife; a daughter, Pamela Love of Earlham; a son, Gary Love of West Des Moines; two brothers, Mark Love of Redfield and James Love of Lola, Mont., and four grandchildren.

Burial was at Earlham Cemetery.
