Martha Alice Bosley, Winterset

Services for Martha Alice Bosley, 80, Winterset, who died Oct. 7 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital, were held Tuesday, Oct. 9 at the Penn Center Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Farr officiating. Burial was at the Penn Center Cemetery.

Born Nov. 10, 1903 at Dexter, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Cora Marston Speer. She married Howard K. Bosley Oct. 20, 1926 at Dexter. Mrs. Bosley came to the Winterset area 19 years ago and was a retired housekeeper and cook. She was a member of the Penn Center Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Walter Lloyd; a brother, DeLoss Speer of DeWitt; and sisters, Leone Higgens of Winterset; Lucille Payton of Des Moines and Mildred Rowell of Kansas City, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a brother.
