Margery Miles Boresi, 70, of West Des Moines died of cancer Oct. 16, 1998.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Wakonda Christian Church in Des Moines. Burial was at Glendale Cemetery, also in Des Moines.

Margery Boresi was born July 19, 1928, in Winterset to Blaine and Bess Miles. She graduated from Winterset High School in 1946. In May of 1948, she married Leo Boresi of Madrid.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and one sister.

She is survived by one son, Richard of Coralville; two daughters, Julie Leonetti of Urbandale and Cathy Long of Des Moines; two brothers, Victor Miles of Sun City, Calif., and Philip Miles of Van Meter; one sister, Eileen Risher of Winterset; and five grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Ronald McDonald House or Make a Wish Foundation.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Caldwell-Raddatz Funeral Home, Hickman Road, Des Moines.
