MELVIN BODWELL FUNERAL HERE

Funeral services were held Thursday from Collins Funeral home in Winterset for Melvin V. Bodwell of Moraine, O., whose death occurred Sunday, May 25, at Dayton, Ohio.

Mr. Bodwell was 47 years of age at his death. He was born in Madison county Jan. 2, 1922, a son of Irwin and Verna Epperson Bodwell. He was married April 11, 1964, to Irma Seltmann who survives him.

He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist church, and had been employed as an engineer at the Kettering hospital in Ohio. He was a veteran of World War II.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two children, Pam Bodwell of Des Moines and Michael Bodwell of Red Oak; four step-children, Lowell and Keith Anderson of California, Mrs. Carol Piner of Loveland, Colo., and Anita Clegg of Denver, Colo.; four brothers, Herman Bodwell of Englewood, Colo., Wallace Bodwell, of Western, Colo., Robert Bodwell of Earlham, Shirley Bodwell of Knoxville; and a sister, Marylin Lattig of Macksburg.
