MRS. NONA BLAIR DIED SATURDAY

Mrs. Nona M. Blair, one of Winterset's oldest residents, died Saturday, May 24, at Memorial hospital here. She was 87 years of age.

Mrs. Blair was born in Madison county April 25, 1882, and spent most of her life-time here. She was the former Nona Johnson, daughter of Marion and Melvina Taylor Johnson. She was married to Albert Blair at Greenfield on Jan. 1, 1902. His death occurred in 1937.

She was member of the Primitive Baptist church at Winterset.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Fern Madole Alcazar of Des Moines; and a brother, Rex Johnson of Thayer.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Walter Acton of Kirksville, Mo. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
