Jasper W. Lenocker
April 4, 1912 - April 4, 1979Jasper W. Lenocker, son of Guy and Ora Morford Lenocker, was born April 4, 1912 in Madison County, Iowa. He passed away suddenly on his 67th birthday, April 4, 1979.
On February 25, 1940, Jasper was united in marriage to Olive Imboden at the parental Imboden home. Jasper and Olive spent their married life together farming in Madison County. Two children blessed their marriage, Robert, presently of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Mary Louise, now Mrs. Dale Hatfield of Dumont, Iowa.
"Jap" as his many friends called him, was a member of Penn Center United Methodist Church, Madison County Farm Bureau and a longtime member of the Penn Township Election Board. He also enjoyed his league bowling with family and friends in Winterset.
Survivors besides his beloved wife and children include five grandchildren and one great-grandson; two brothers, Paul and Ray of Dexter; and three sisters, Mrs. Fern Algreen of Dexter, Mrs. Mary Shields of Alexandria, Virginia and Mrs. Ruth Loftus of Aurora, Colorado.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brother Fred, and an infant brother.
Burial was in the Penn Center cemetery, Madison County, Iowa.
