Death of John Bishop

John Bishop, who had lived at Summerset for years, died on Tuesday at Indianola. He was a brother of Cain and Abel Bishop and lived in Winterset in his youth. Mr. Bishop, who was past 72, had been troubled with rheumatism and the cause of his death was heart trouble. He visited here with his brothers in February. Four children survive him. He will be well remembered by many Winterset residents.

Funeral services were held at Summerset at two o'clock today, burial taking place at Summerset.
