Eva M. Zane, 87, of Angola, Ind., and a former Winterset resident, died Dec. 6, 1999, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 11, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chesterton, Ind., with Father John Zemelko officiating. Burial was at Chesterton Cemetery.
Eva Zane was born July 6, 1912, to George and Emma (Thompson) Hartman of Ellston. She was married to Clyde "Buck" Zane. She had been employed in the food preparation department in a Des Moines area hospital. Eva was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Angola, Ind., and the Royal Neighbors of America Camp 5469.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, five brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Karen Price; and four grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home in Chesterton.
