Leo Bienfang, Bella Vista, Ark.

Leo Elgin Bienfang, 69, died of a heart attack Fr., March 13 at Bates Hospital, Bentonville, Ark. A memorial service was held March 16.

Born in Eldora, he lived in Winterset until moving to Arkansas four years ago. He was a professional umpire.

Survivors include his wife, Lois; a son Craig of Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Nancy Wells of Runnells and Susan Bienfang of Des Moines; four brothers, Donald of Blue Springs, Mo., and Jack, Jim and Gary, all of Grundy Center; and five grandchildren.

Bella Vista Funeral Home handled arrangements and the body was cremated.
