Lucas Charles Berry, 26, of Winterset died Nov. 16, 2003 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 19) at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset with Pastor Steve Koch officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

Lucas was born in Creston, Iowa, on Sept. 26, 1977, the son of Steve and Cheryl (Agan) Berry. He was a 1996 graduate of Winterset High School and later received a degree in business from William Penn College. His hobbies included collecting coins and dragon figurines.
He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Bart Berry and fiancee Mandy Bence of Winterset and Bret Berry of Sacramento, Calif.; a nephew, Noah Berry of Des Moines; a niece, Julia Berry of Winterset; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Helen Berry of Winterset; his maternal grandmother, Agatha "Gay" Agan of Winterset; three aunts, Judy Farlow and Don Hocker, Sharon Holtz and Tom Homer and Debbie White and husband Dave; and one uncle, Randy Berry and wife JoAnn.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Agan, and an uncle, Jimmy Agan.
