Services for Fern V. Berry, 71, rural Lorimor, who died Sept. 7 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held Monday, Sept. 12 at the Collins Funeral Home with Craig Mack officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Monroe county, Iowa on April 28, 1917, she was the daughter of Francis and Lucy Noe Felton. She was a retired secretary and homemaker.

Married to Clyde Berry on Oct. 28, 1939 in Mexico, Mo., she had lived in Madison County the past 42 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Lee of Peru and Lynn of DeSoto; a daughter, Loretta Bordelon of Kalispell, Mont.; a brother, Lester Felton of Plattsmouth, Neb.; a sister Lola Williams of Dallas Center; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.
