Dorothy Berry, Winterset

Dorothy L. Berry 68, died October 15, 1993 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Services were held at the Winterset Cemetery, October 18, 1993 with the Pastor Terry Kerr officiating.

Mrs. Berry was born July 6, 1925 in Madison County to Lawrence and Lenore Martin Peacock. She married Walter W. Berry in Bethany, Mo. on November 8, 1943.

She lived in Madison County most of her life being a homemaker. She was a protestant.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Lawrence; and a grandson, Thomas L. Thiessen.

She is survived by one son, Randy W. Berry of Burlington; two daughters, Sharon Thiessen of Norwalk, Sheila Berry of Des Moines; two brothers, Merlin Peacock of West Des Moines and Robert Peacock of Winterset; one sister, Martha Berch of Peru; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
