Ted Bergstrom, Winterset

Edwin Thomas "Ted" Bergstrom, 21, of Winterset died of injuries sustained in an automobile accident four miles north of Winterset on August 2, 1997. Memorial services will be August 6, 1997 at the First United Methodist Church in Winterset at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Jon Gaul officiating. There will be a private interment at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Winterset on July 11, 1976, he was the son of Thomas Edwin and Deborah Lynn (Jeneary) Bergstrom. He graduated from Winterset High School in 1995 and was currently enrolled at the University of Iowa. He was an All State and All Conference baseball player in high school, and was a semi-pro player for the Des Moines Vipers baseball team. He was also a lifetime resident of Madison County.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents and his grandfather.

Surviving relatives include his parents; one grandmother, Ethel Bergstrom of Onawa; and grandparents, Delmar and Robin Jeneary of Winterset, and special friend, Jamie Hemesath of Winterset.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
