Funeral services for Fannie F. Bennett, 87, were held Sat. March 23 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Leslie officiating. She died March 19 at Winterset Care Center South where she was a resident.

A Winterset resident for over 64 years, she came from Perry. She was born June 29, 1903 to Isaiah and Dora (Crow) Gideon in Alexandria, Minn. and married Charley Kyle Bennett February 25, 1925 in Perry. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and four sisters.

Surviving relatives include a son, Charles Burton Bennett and nieces and nephews.

Burial was at Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
