Wanda Bryan, Winterset

Wanda Louise Bryan, 79, died June 1, 2005, at Winterset Care Center North.

A memorial service was held Monday, June 6, at Collins Oak Park Chapel in Winterset with the Rev. Bill Branson officiating. Burial of the cremains was at Ebenezer Cemetery, Walnut Township, Madison County.

Wanda Bryan was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Muscatine to Jessie Franklin and Evelyn Louise (Ishmael) Wagley. In 1962, she married John L. Bryan in Arkansas. Wanda grew up in Louisiana and Texas, settling in Winterset in 1950.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by four brothers, Floyd "Tex" Wagley of Winterset, Roger Wagley of Pineville, La., and John Wagley and Jessie Wagley, both of Boyce, La.; and three sisters, Gladys Mae Johnson and Tracy Wagley, both of Glenmora, La., and Linda Wagley of Alexandria, La.
