Mrs. Hazel Beedle Dies at 73 Years

Mrs. Hazel M. Beedle of Winterset died Saturday, October 14 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines at the age of 73 years.

Mrs. Beedle had been a resident of Madison County for 52 years. She was a native of Adair County, where she was born March 7, 1899, a daughter of William and Sarah Nelson Beaman. She was married in Des Moines on September 27, 1921 to John R. Beedle. His death occurred in 1963.

She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran church at Winterset.

Surviving are three children, Mrs. Guy Beard of Winterset, Duane Beedle of St. Charles and Mrs. Delbert Howell of Winterset; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Golda Estel, Mrs. Percy Estell and Mrs. Cash Crawford, all of Winterset.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the St. Paul Lutheran Church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Edward R. Zaiser. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
