Bruce Alan Beebe, Anita

Bruce Alan Beebe, 49, of Anita died July 15, 1999, from injuries sustained in a tractor accident.

Graveside services were held Monday, July 19, at Lorimor Cemetery with Pastor Marty Burgus officiating. Military services were conducted by American Legion Post 184 and VFW Post 8142 of Winterset.

Bruce Beebe was born June 12, 1950 in Osceola to Roland and Norma LaVon (Thompson) Beebe. He grew up in the Murray area, graduating from Murray Community High School in 1969. He was an Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He also resided in Lincoln and Ainsworth, Neb., and the Lorimor, Winterset and Earlham areas before recently moving to Anita. He was employed by Cramer and Associates of Des Moines as a construction supervisor. He also was a dealer for the Buckeye Powered Parachutes of Argos, Ind., and was a fur buyer in Ainsworth, Neb. for five years. Bruce was a member of ABATE of Iowa, Central Iowa Sports Flyers of DeSoto and NRA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

He is survived by one son, Steven A. Beebe of Dexter; one daughter, Melanie Beebe of Winterset; one brother, Gary Beebe (wife Alice) of Creston; one sister, Janice Williams (husband Randy) of Peru; and his grandmother, Lorraine Thompson of Winterset.

Memorial contributions may be directed to his family.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.
