Gerald E. Bedwell, Des Moines

Funeral services for Gerald E. Bedwell, 76, were held Tues., Jan. 22 at Merle Hay Funeral Home, Des Moines. He died of a heart attack Fri. Jan. 18 at Des Moines General Hospital.

Born in Winterset, he lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was a retired sheet metal worker for EMCO, a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of Vine Street Gospel Chapel of Des Moines, and United Steel Workers of America.

Survivors are his wife, Imogene; two daughters, Donna Watkins and Geraldine Roseno, both of California; five sons, Bervon, Richard, Randall, Timothy and Christopher, all of Des Moines; a sister, Joan Collins of California; and two brothers, Paul of Polk City and Blair of Montezuma.

The body was cremated following the service.
