MRS. GRANT YOUNG Buried Saturday

Mrs. Grant Young, who lived most of her life west of Winterset, died Tuesday, Feb. 3rd at Wellington, Kan., where she had been living in recent years. She was 83 years of age.

Mrs. Young was born at Monticello on July 28, 1869. She was married to Grant Young on Feb. 23, 1888, in Sumner county, Kansas. They lived in Madison county for 38 years.

Mrs. Young's only child died in 1941, and the death of her husband occurred in 1942. She leaves a sister, Mrs. Guy Pebbly of Wellington, Kan., and a brother, Robert Anderson of Parsons, Kan.

Funeral services were held at Wellington. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery last Saturday with grave-side services conducted by the Rev. Clement Loehr, pastor of the Winterset Presbyerian Church.
