MRS. WILLIAM HART Dies in Oregon

Word has been received here of the death, Tuesday morning, April 4th, 1961, of Mrs. William Hart, at her home in Portland, Oregon. Mrs. Hart, the former, Madge Phipps, a daugher of Robert and Nanny Bradshaw Phipps, was born in St. Charles and spent her early life there.

She was married to William Hart, in 1918, and they lived in Phoenix, Arizona, before they came to Winterset; they left here in 1938, and Portland had since been her home.

Mrs. Hart, who was in her early sixties, died at her home with a sudden and fatal heart attack; she leaves a sister, Mrs. Ralph O. Mills of Winterset, who flew to Portland today. Mr. Hart died in Portland, in 1957.
