Mrs. Warren Drake of Macksburg died Wednesday, March 29, 1972, at Memorial hospital in Winterset at the age of 81 years.
Mrs. Drake was a life-time resident of the Macksburg and Lorimor communities. She was the former Jessie E. Young, daughter of Oscar and Anna Newerf Young, and was born in Madison county May 8, 1890.
She was married to Warren E. Drake at the Hebron church on June 14, 1927. His death occurred in 1956.
Mrs. Drake was a menber of the Methodist church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Raymond McDonald of Winterset; a son, Bill E. Drake of Lorimor, six grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Roy V. Crow of Afton.
Funeral services were held Friday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Norman Hoag of Creston. Burial was made in Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
