Claude Beaman, Winterset

Claude Eugene Beaman, 85, of Winterset, died Feb. 12, 2004, at Winterset Care Center South.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset with Pastor Lisa Locoh officiating. Burial was at Penn Center Cemetery in rural Earlham.

Claude Beaman was born April 21, 1918, in Madison County to Eldon and Angie (Estle) Beaman. On Feb. 1, 1941, he married Elsie Bernice Bloomquist in Panora. Claude was a lifelong area resident and farmer. He was a member of the Webster United Methodist Church, Worthington United Methodist and Farm Bureau.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of Winterset; a son, Gary Beaman of Winterset and two grandchildren.
