Frank Baumgardner, Casey

Frank Baumgardner, 63, of Casey died Sept. 21, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

A memorial service was held at the Kingdom Hall in Guthrie Center with Chris Storkson officiating.

Frank Baumgardner was born Jan. 11, 1942 to Douglas and Elsie (Heckman) Baumgardner of Van Meter. Frank drove a truck for most of his life and later ran a vacuum repair from his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Tim Baumgardner, a brother, Veryl; and two granddaughters and two stepfathers.

He is survived by his wife, Connie, of Casey; three sons, Tony Baumgardner of Peru, Richard Baumgardner of New York and Timothy Baumgardner of Columbus, Neb; five daughters, Tami Carter of Dexter, Tena Nail of Winterset, Teddi Horner of Peru and Chantel Slusarski and Randi Baumgardner, both of Columbus, Neb.; two stepchildren, Mandy Lyman of Winterset and James Lyman of Earlham; a brother, Darrell Baumgardner of Huxley; a sister, Lola Brittain of Waukee and 11 grandchildren.
