Raymond Ryan, 19, Buried at Winterset

The body of Raymond Maurice Ryan, Jr., 19 years old, of Vista, Calif. was returned to Winterset Monday for burial in the Winterset cemetery. Graveside services were held in charge of the Rev. John C. Porath, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church.

The death of the young man had occurred Feb. 7 at Vista, after a year of illness.

He was a son of Maurice and Irene Nichols Ryan, formerly of Winterset, who moved from here to Vista in 1958. He was born in Winterset December 19, 1942 and spent his early life here. He had graduated from the Vista high school with the class of 1961.

Funeral services were held at Vista last Friday.

In addition to his parents, the young man leaves three sisters, Mrs. Kaye Hungerford of Seattle, Wash., and Barbara and Judith Ryan, at home, and both grandmothers, Mrs. Fern Jackson and Mrs. Madge Nichols, both of Winterset.
