Funeral services for Marie Johnson, 92, were held Tues., April 28 at Redfield Christian Church. She died of a heart ailment April 25 at Earlham Health Care Center.
She was born July 2, 1899 in Redfield to Alonzo and Myrtle (Butler) Scotts and married William Preston Johnson in 1935 in Redfield. She was a retired nurse's aide at Redfield Medical Clinic and a member of Redfield Rebekah Lodge, Redfield Christian Church and the Thursday Club there.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Surviving is a sister, Alice Forshier of Earlham.
Burial was at East Linn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
