John Gowin, an old and well know citizen of this place, died at his home Monday night after a long sickness. Another old soldier gone and another soldier's grave to decorate. One by one they are dropping off.

John Gowin, and old citizen of the town, died yesterday at his home, in the west part. His disease was consumption. The funeral will take place today.
