Services Held For Former Resident

Services for Elnora Baker, 85, were held from the West Des Moines Christian Church on Wednesday of last week. Mrs. Baker was stricken on Mother's Day while attending church services with her son and wife and lived two hours. She was a former Madison County resident and had lived in West Des Moines 36 years. She formerly lived at Peru and was a teacher in Madison County.

Mrs. Baker was a member of the American Cancer Society and the West Des Moines Christian Church.

She is survived by a son Gene Baker and a daughter, Mildred, both of Des Moines, three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.
