The death of George Dolson took place recently in Funston, Kans., at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fannie Peed, following paralysis. The body was brought here for burial in the Winterset cemetery, services being held in St. Joseph's church last Thursday morning. Besides Mrs. Peed, one son, George of Kansas City survives his father. Mrs. Dolson, the former Ellen Murphy, died about two years ago.
Mr. Dolson was for many years a resident of Douglas township, and after the death of his wife, moved from here in order to make his home with his children.

George Dolson, aged Douglas township farmer and well known citizen died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fannie Peed, at Princton, Kansas, April 6. The body will reach Winterset tomorrow morning and the funeral will be held at the Catholic church at 10:00 a. m.
Mr. Dolson was 75 years old. His death was caused by a stroke of paralysis. George Dolson lived in Douglas township for nearly fifty years and was one of our best known and respected citizens. His wife died two years ago and since then he has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Peed, who with her brother, George Dolson, of Kansas City are the surviving members of the old family.
