Julia Ann Armit, Colorado

Julia Ann Armit, 28, of Colorado Springs, Colo, died Aug. 14, 2002, at Penrose Hospital.

Graveside services were held Saturday Aug. 17, at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs with the Rev. Warren Hile officiating.

Julia Armit was born March 22, 1974, in Colorado Springs to Jack and Ann (Emerson) Armit. A lifetime resident of the Colorado Springs area, she was a graduate of Cheyenne Mountain High School and the University of Colorado, where she received her degree in psychology. Julia had been working with developmentally challenge children at Roundup Fellowship in Colorado Springs.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.

She is survived by her mother, Ann of Colorado Springs; her father Jack, of Colorado Springs; a brother, John Armit of Denver; her maternal grandmother, Marge Emerson Lathrum of Winterset; and an aunt and an uncle.
