Eleanor Ann Anderson, Winterset

Eleanor Ann Anderson, 92, of Winterset died of an heart ailment Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, at Madison County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Feb. 21 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winterset with Father Ed Pfeffer officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

Eleanor was born March 24, 1905, in Waukee, Iowa, to Daniel and Mary Rogers Crowley. She married Clyde Anderson in June 1932 in Perry, Iowa. She resided in Olathe, Kan., before moving to Winterset. Eleanor was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winterset and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband.

Surviving relatives include a son, Dan Anderson (wife Vicky) of Winterset; a daughter, Patricia Thompson (husband John) of Lakewood, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
