LARRY E. HOPE Died at Age 37

Larry E. Hope of Winterset, a lifetime resident of Madison County, died at his home near Winterset last Sunday, July 28, 1974. He was 37 years of age.

Larry Eugene Hope was born in Madison County on April 3, 1937, the son of Ralph and Gwendolyn Delong Hope. He married Myrna Little on June 2, 1956 at Winterset.

Mr. Hope was employed by the H. M. Cooper Company for ten years, and had been employed by Madison County for the past six years.

He was affiliated with the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Myrna, and two children: Rhonda Sue and Rod Eugene; and his mother, Gwendolyn Hope, all of Winterset.

He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Lawrence C. Hope; and a sister, Sharon Kay Hope.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31 at the First United Methodist Church in Winterset, with the Rev. Paul Bousfield officiaaing. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.
