Emory F. Klingaman, 91, of Redfield died of a heart ailment June 21, 2000, at home.
The body was cremated. Graveside services were held Tuesday, June 27, at Winterset Cemetery.
Emory Klingaman was born May 24, 1909, in Winterset to Curtis C. and Mary A. (Huffman) Klingaman. He had resided in Slater and Polk and Madison Counties before moving to Redfield a year ago. Emory had been a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Thelma.
He is survived by two daughters, Wilma Jean Mitchell of Redfield and Judith Elings of Colfax; two sons, Ernest Klingaman of LeClaire and Keith Klingaman of Gerald, Ohio; a sister, Ora Sorenson of Florida; a brother, George Klingaman of Las Vegas, Nev.; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
