CURTIS KLINGAMAN Died Thursday

Charles Curtis Klingaman, a well known Webster township farmer for many years, died at his home last Thursday, Jan. 4, 1951,. He was 67 years of age.

Mr. Klingaman came to Madison county as a young man, and spent the remainder of his life here. He had lived for 47 years on his home farm in Webster township.

He was born at Troy Mills, in Linn county, on Oct. 14, 1883, a son of Charles and Eva Klingaman. He came with his parents to Madison county when he was about 17 years old.

He was married here, July 4, 1903, to Mary A. Huffman. They were the parents of four sons and three daughters. One daughter, Esther, preceded the father in death.

Surviving are his wife; and the six children, Joseph Klingaman of Waukee, Emory Klingaman of Des Moines, George Klingaman of Sisseton, S.Dak., Irvin Klingaman at home, Mrs. William Luth of Winterset and Mrs. Lloyd Eyerly of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Sunday from Anderson's home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. Boyd Zeller, pastor of the Oak Grove Evangelical church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
