Herman R. Jensen, De Soto

Services for Herman R. Jensen, 89, of DeSoto, who died of a heart ailment Sunday at Madison County Memorial Hospital, were at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at DeSoto United Methodist Church. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Madison County.

Mr. Jensen was a lifelong resident of the DeSoto area and was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Nora; two sons, Robert of Winterset and John of DeSoto; four daughters, Margaret Bell and Maxine Gillihan, both of Des Moines, Ruby Bennett of Winterset and Virginia Albert of Van Meter; two sisters, Alma Duffy of Los Angeles, Calif., and Martha Flutig of Cedar Rapids; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild
