Faye Lois Algoe, Columbus City

Faye Lois Algoe, 86, of Columbus City, died Monday January 17, 1994 at the Washington County Hospital in Washington, Iowa after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 20, 1994 at 10:30 a.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wed. Jan. 19 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Winterset Cemetery.

She was born July 25, 1907 at West View, Virginia to Clarence and Martha (Sellers) Lightner. She married Raymond W. Algoe on April 5, 1935 in Des Moines. She was a homemaker and helped run the family's general store in Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son; four brothers and three sisters.

Surviving relatives include two daughters, Mrs. Lyle (Kathleen) Clark of Columbus City and Mrs. Richard (Mary) Sheets of Rochester, Minnesota; one son, David Algoe of St. Cloud, Minnesota and nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
